1. About SiteLenz

SiteLenz Ltd (“SiteLenz”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a New Zealand company that provides AI-powered property intelligence reports for Auckland properties. Our service aggregates publicly available data including Auckland Unitary Plan zoning information, flood risk maps, council valuations, and building consent history into easy-to-read reports.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SiteLenz (available at propertycheck.co.nz), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and purchasers.

3. Service Description

SiteLenz provides two tiers of service:

• Free zoning snapshot: A summary of the Auckland Unitary Plan zoning classification for any Auckland address, available at no charge.
• Full property report (paid): A comprehensive PDF report covering zoning rules, flood risk, infrastructure, buildability analysis, council valuations, and neighbourhood context. Reports are delivered by email within approximately 5–10 minutes of purchase.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service.
• Resell or redistribute reports without our prior written consent.
• Use the service to harass, stalk, or harm any individual.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems.

5. Disclaimers and Limitations

Informational purposes only. SiteLenz reports are provided for general informational purposes and do not constitute planning advice, legal advice, real estate advice, or a substitute for a Land Information Memorandum (LIM) issued by Auckland Council.

Data accuracy. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or currency of data sourced from third parties (including Auckland Council, LINZ, and other public datasets). Data may not reflect recent changes, consents, or plan modifications.

No warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, the service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, SiteLenz's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the report giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and compiled reports produced by SiteLenz are our intellectual property or that of our licensors. You may use reports you have purchased for your own personal or professional purposes, but may not reproduce, publish, or distribute them without our written permission.

7. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing a report, you authorise us to charge the stated fee to your chosen payment method. All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST where applicable. Please refer to our Refund Policy for information on refunds.

8. Privacy

Your use of SiteLenz is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
